Encore: Day 6
Good morning! Today is a sea day. This is the breakfast spread in the studio lounge.
I’m going with cafe latte today.
Then I headed to the atrium for an Irish coffee.
Here is today’s Freestyle Daily.
The atrium bar got loaded with walk-ups so I stepped up to deck 7 at The Local for my screwdrivers. It’s just me and two bartenders here which is perfect.
I walked down to the dining room and got right in. It is crowded though. The NCL app hasn’t worked for me at all this morning.
I noticed they don’t use that section at all during breakfast. Normally it seems like Norwegian uses all of their window seats to try to get as many people by the window as possible. Here I’ve been in this middle seat every morning.
French toast
I requested the breakfast sandwich with egg whites. It’s still really good.
The Local is still empty. I got a spicy double grey goose bloody mary.
Let’s take a look at the Observation Lounge.
I got a dirty martini at the bar.
Before I left I had them make me two pina coladas that way I know they’re fresh. On lido they’re pouring them out of machines.
Pool Olympics is going on but I’m too far away.
I tried the sun deck because there was space available but the overhang covers half of the pool.
The problem is they have those loungers lining the deck 17 railing so you can’t really line that with people to watch events like on Carnival.
After walking around a bunch I know the spot I watched the Mr. Sexy Legs competition has no loungers but three people standing there. There’s room for more but they aren’t properly spaced.
I weaseled my way in. The shoulder lean. The one hand down. Then as soon as they turn to talk to someone. I’m in with both elbows.
Synchronized swimming was the final.
They left after that and I was able to improve my position for the Ms. Biceps competition. This is the final four. The ghost white pale one is from Canada.
It wasn’t as entertaining as Mr. Sexy Legs. They just flexed in round 1 and did pushups in the finals. The winner won because of what she said in the finals which is not family friendly. This is the winner. That’s her significant other with his hands up. On every ship there’s one couple angling to win all of the comps. That’s the couple on this ship.
I found the smoker’s box on lido. No doors so you can still smell it around here.
A look at the Spice adults only area.
I’m pretty sure the hot tub has been closed all week.
This is the view from the back of Spice.
I snagged an untracked towel for Great Stirrup Cay tomorrow.
I headed down to the District Brewhouse for a Guinness.
Then I grabbed two Moretti’s to go and headed up to the Observation Lounge.

After I finished my beers I moved to the bar and got a dirty martini.
Then an espresso martini.
This isn’t helpful at all.
It’s no more than 60% in here.

I headed down to the brewhouse for an Abita Amber.
Then I headed down to the theater for The Choir of Man.
Since I’ve been to the show before I knew what to expect this time and took advantage of the opportunity to get on stage and get a beer from the cast.
Sometimes videos aren’t allowed at shows but they encourage it here.
They don’t tell you until the end though so I didn’t know the first time. This time I picked a seat on the aisle with a nice sightline to the middle of the stage down the aisle so I wouldn’t have to hold my phone up and bother others to get some pictures and clips.
After the show they had crew members from all departments come up on stage to be recognized.

I was surprised to see this listed in the atrium because I’ve seen it on Jewel and it’s like the adult game show on Carnival. On Jewel they did it in a lounge. In this case it’s the atrium and they are going to try to keep kids out of here.
I noticed they had the bed pushed all the way against the wall which took about 6 inches off of it’s width. I pulled it out so I have the full bed now. Tomorrow we’re supposed to be at Great Stirrup Cay. Good night!
