Hawaiian Radiance: Debarkation

At 3am I woke up and it sounded like a party was going on next door. It’s the same room that had that on the first night. The crazy thing is it’s two older ladies in that room. But it sounds like on the first and last night they had the entire family over. I had to give the wall a couple love taps to quiet them down.

It was another short line in the coffee shop.

I went with a mocha since it’s debarkation day.

I headed up to lido for Big Chicken.

This is my last Big Chicken.

This was my steward. He did a great job.

Here is a look at the channels on the room TV.

These are the on demand movies. The ones with the green box in the upper right hand corner are free.

They started debarkation at 7:20, called luggage tags 1-6 by 8, and 1-12 by 8:30.

We have to be out of the rooms at 8:30. It’s 8 on Norwegian. I stripped the bed and was out at 8:25.

I also removed my duct tape from the glow in the dark sign.

I’m sure I’m going to be super early for check-in at my Hollywood hotel either way so I’m just letting the rush go by and finishing my coffee.

I’m going to have to rethink my packing tonight for my flight tomorrow. It seems like I have a lot more than what I came with. I guess I did add more souvenirs than usual. I bought four t-shirts and that bag of Kona coffee on top of my usual ship ornament and VIFP gift.

After I finished my coffee I decided to head off.

That’s Cruise Director Kieran at the end of the bar.

They do have escalators but they’re powered off. The elevator and ramp are your only options.

I stepped off of the ship at 9:17 and was outside at 9:31.

I wanted to pay about $50 for a ride. Lyft is way out of line. I’m going with Uber.

The Uber/Lyft pickup is in the garage across from the terminal. It’s usually a madhouse and sometimes difficult to find your driver.

That white car just drove into the crosswalk and these people started screaming at him. He hit reverse and crashed into the car behind him.

It was a hassle again finding the Uber. I was on the phone with her and had to walk all around that lower level pickup area. It turned out she was on the other side which I’ve never been picked up or dropped off at before and it wasn’t where Uber told me to stand.
