Regal Christmas: Cozumel

Good morning. It’s day three and we’re still on our way to Cozumel. We should be arriving in the next hour. I don’t have big plans for today. I am going to get off of the ship to check out the Christmas decorations.

Here is a look at today’s Princess Patter.

We are pulling into Cozumel. Star of the Seas and Carnival Valor are already here.

Mein Schiff 1 is pulling in.

Here comes MSC.

The steward slipped this under my door. I went down to the Italian restaurant when I first got onboard to signup for the Chef’s table. This should eat up all of my $175 onboard credit.

I stopped by Princess Live Cafe for a butter pecan latte.

This is my favorite cruise ship coffee.

I took my coffee down to the dining room. I don’t like the fact that there are four empty tables to the left of me but they seat me right next to some couple. I don’t want to listen to their conversations. Fortunately I have my headphones.

They have a pastry guy that walks around.

I got pancakes and a Mexican omelet.

That’s the wrong holiday.

I stopped by Princess Live Cafe again for an Americano.

That’s Captain Aldo.

I am getting off of the ship to walk around the port area and check out the Christmas decorations.

We got here on the right day. It looks like rain the rest of the week.

Carnival Legend was hiding on the other side of Valor.

When I came here in November the tree was up but no decorations yet.

A closer look at Star of the Seas.

I’m not sure what that balcony is. I can see it from my room. It looks like where the emperor would be.

They just put out some fresh pizzas.

I got a dirty banana.

Then I got a bloody mary at the Sea View Bar. Look at that bar stool.

Elf is on the big screen.

I like that they have this in the elevators. A lot of times people get in the elevator not knowing what floor they need to go to.

Redzone challenge in the Piazza. I saw this last time as guest vs. officers. Maybe they do that later in the cruise.

My room was serviced while I was out.

Banana daiquiri at the outriggers bar.

I headed down to Croner’s to try some of their drinks.

Then I got a Guinness.

There’s a piano player in the Piazza.

This is tonight’s fly on entertainment.

The steward stopped by again to leave a time change notice and tomorrow’s Patter.

Star of the Seas is first out.

We’re pulling out.

I’m going into the stash.

I stepped outside downstairs for some sunset before dinner.

I’m doing Ocean Terrace tonight. This is what they have in the dining room. If I have time I could go by there for that pistachio dessert.

It says wait but the guy wasn’t seating anyone and it’s not busy. He has three tables of 1-2 each. Finally a lady in the group behind me went and asked and now we’re all at the bar.

This is other people’s food.

If you are using one of your two included casual meals, this is your only option. That’s what I’m doing.

After dinner I grabbed a beer to take to the magic workshop.

I grabbed another beer to take to the main shoow.

There’s plenty of seating available down front.

Then I headed to the Marriage Match show.

I picked up another beer at The Wheelhouse Bar on the way.

Cruise Director Giuseppe is hosting.

We’re starting with newly weds. They have tell their engagement stories.

They met on a plane, got engaged in Shanghai, and got the spot.

This is the middle group. They’re going through the same process.

They won due to an Ice Ice Baby performance. They ultimately won the entire thing.

Now see everyone says this cruise line is older but they only had two signups for the old couple so they took the walkups. This is all they could come up with. On other cruise lines it’s always some 80 year old couple who has been married 50 years. Maybe it’s too late for the older couples It’s 10pm.
