Regal Christmas: Day 6
Good morning. Today is the last day of the cruise as we make our way back to New Orleans. I’m going to close this balcony up because they’re doing balcony cleaning today.

I put on deck the halls while I was in the room.

Then I left something extra for the steward before his final cleaning. I’m out of thank you cards and envelopes so I had to do a makeshift one.

That’s a must see. It’s a combination cooking/comedy show.

Here is today’s Princess Patter.

They do this exercise/dance thing in the morning that is really popular.

I’m doing international cafe again. The breakfast menu in the dining room is the same as the day I got that Hawaiian fruit thing.

I got the same thing as yesterday. An almond croissant and egg and avocado toast.

Butter pecan latte

I had them put some vodka in this so I don’t have orange juice on my breath.

I got a spicy bloody mary to take to the culinary demonstration.

They have a really nice set for this show.

Cruise Director Giuseppe

Executive Chef Ian

The chef’s daughter’s birthday is tomorrow so he recorded everyone singing happy birthday to her.

Director of Restaurant Operations, Francisco has joined Giuseppe and Chef Ian.

The pastry chef came out for the black forest cake demonstration.

Francisco made a mess out of his.

Here are the recipes from the demonstration.

After the demonstration, they recognized members of the galley and restaurant teams.

I’m heading to the galley tour. It looks like they’re setting up for a guests vs. officers beer pong game.

In the dining room they’re setup for a wine tasting.

This is where we entered for the Chef’s Table last night except instead of going straight back we’re going to take a right down the hotline. Then a right at the end to exit the galley.

The red scarf is the section leader. Blue scarves work for him.

I guess they are older here. We lost 42 passengers overnight.

I believe this is where they have their special wine dinner.

I bought two of these last time. I use the red one. The brown one is still in plastic.

The game is afoot.

My room has been cleaned.

It looks like they finished the balcony cleaning.

We must be getting close to Texas.

Here is the current weather and location.

I stopped by the room to work on my packing.

Then I headed to the lido deck for the ice carving demonstration.

This is today’s pizzas.

My chef’s table picture keeps popping up in the screens in the elevator lobby. I finally I figured out your pictures show up when your medallion is near.

I got chicken and waffles for lunch in the dining room.

Dirty banana at the sea view bar.

They have a line dance class going in the piazza.

For all of the slides from Gianmarco’s presentation, please visit Regal Christmas: Navigation at Sea.

I’m stopping to see what the voice of the ocean looks like before I head up to pool games.

Giuseppe is one of the judges.

I see poolside games up there but no poolside games are going on. That’s not the first time this week.

I grabbed a spicy bloody mary and I’m going to head back down to the theater for the Voice of the Ocean final.

If they had this on Royal Caribbean I wonder if they’d call it Voice of the Seas.
They all turned before she started so I guess they knew who it was going to be and how good she was.

The way this worked is the six winners from the audition day each got to sing. I guess one dropped out because we only had five. They do the chair turn and the contestants pick a team. At the end the judges have to narrow their team down to one finalist. Then the crowd votes from the three finalists.

Comedian Corey Rodrigues is one of the judges.

Cha cha dance class in the piazza.

One last dirty banana at the Sea View Bar.

Ultimate cooler

Afternoon offerings at international cafe.

I stashed a pistachio cake and an oatmeal cookie.

dirty (allegedly) martini at Good Spirits

Frothy fango

Lets go check out the sunset.

This one isn’t fully included in the plus package because it’s $16. I just have to pay $1.
peanut butter cup

I guess it’s $1.18 with auto gratuity.

Dirty (ish) Martini

Guy at the bar asks for water. The bartender says water? Points to the window and says “There’s plenty of water out there.”

Princess orchestra setting up on my way to dinner. They play at 8.

Shrimp cocktail

Prime rib

I got the pistachio dessert.

I asked the lady at the table next to me if I could go take a picture of her Baked Alaska. She also got crème brûlée but I didn’t stay around that long.

This is the steward one down from me. I call him The rock. He’s a big dude.

I’ve got three Coronas left and one more drink on the package so I’m taking two to Born to Bance then I’ll have two for Liar’s Club.

Born to Dance

Plenty of available seating on the side.

3,500 guests this cruise, 3,900 next week, 4,100 Christmas week.

Notice the lack of interior rooms on my hallway. There are about five at the front of the ship then none till midship.

It was a bit of a hassle but I grabbed my last Corona out of the stash, then headed to the Wheelhouse Bar. People were stacked up at Princess Live Cafe and I’ve had good luck with quick service at the Wheelhouse when I’m in this area for comedy.

‘

The way this works is there will be three panelists. An obscure word is displayed. They tell us what it means. We come down and give a card to the one we think is lying. I’m assuming we’ll do that three times.

Andrew from comedy and Cruise Director Giuseppe are two of the panelists.

They showed pictures of each of them as children.

In the middle of this room service comes. When you order room service there’s an option to send it to your current location or your room. This guy in the hat meant to do room but did current location so it came here.

Andrew won that round.

Giuseppe won overall.
It’s late on the last night so I’m heading right to bed. Tomorrow is debarkation day.
