Good morning from Galveston! There’s an ambulance racing down Harborside Drive.
I got up at 6:50 and brought breakfast back to the room.
Here are the debarkation documents. I didn’t pick an option because they gave this to me on day 2 of the cruise. That was just too early for me and I never got back to it.
They started walk off at 7:30. I can leave at any time.
I’m checking out of the room at 7:57.
They have gangways on deck 6 and 7. I carried my luggage down the stairs to deck 7.
They are on luggage tags blue 8 and silver 9. I don’t know how high the numbers go but I did see some blue 38 tags in my hallway last night.
I got in line at 8am.
That’s the sea walk up there.
I’m carrying my luggage so I don’t have to stop down there.
It was a breeze for passport people. They had seven lines and no waiting. Birth certificate people had one agent. The line had about 10 people in it when I passed by.
These are the old immigration lines.
I was outside at 8:15.
These are the parking lot shuttles.
That’s my shuttle.
I was on the shuttle at 8:21.
A downside to this lot is you have to cross train tracks and there was a train. It wasn’t a very long delay though.
They have a covered parking lot across the street that we stopped at before proceeding to the main lot.
Next time we’re doing Norwegian Escape out of New Orleans.
