Regal Christmas: Galveston Day 3

Good morning. It got cold last night and at 4am I was looking for some warmth. The bed just has a very thin blanket and I couldn’t find any additional blankets. That’s weird because this is supposed to sleep four with the couch.

Fortunately I found this space heater which was good enough for just me.

I made what I thought was coffee but it turned out to be tea.

That’s just a big tea bag.

A block down the street I found this food mart.

The guy in there let me fill up for $2.50

The green hornet!

I found this on the beach.

I thought I saw a carnival ship for a second there…

There’s a Carnival ship.

I’m about to check out. That’s the American Legion parking lot where they play music 9am-9pm.

This is my first time parking at Affordable Cruise Parking. This is the old Discount Cruise Parking lot. They moved closer to the port after COVID. This was $100 for the week and Discount was going to be $160.

After I parked I poured my last two Bananas Fosters into my coffee mug. I just need to finish it before security.

I was able to get right on the shuttle. Royal people had to wait another 10 minutes for the next shuttle.

Next time we’ll cover embarkation.
