I booked the Black Swan Electric Boat Cruise. though Norwegian. It’s a $49 excursion which makes it free with the $50 More At Sea discount. It’s just a 45-minute tour. I’m hoping to see some manatees out there.
I headed to the tour sales desk at the Marina and they showed me where to wait for the tour.
That’s where the tour leaves from so I’m heading over there.
I found a group that was waiting for the same tour so I took a seat.
After a few minutes a guy came around to take our tickets.
Then he told us where to line up at.
Our boat has arrived.
I got a seat next to the driver.
They immediately broke out the rum punch.
We are mostly looking for manatees on this tour which is what I wanted to see.
Our guide said any place with a group of people like this is a good place to look because they are all chasing the manatees as well.
We did see a manatee briefly which I captured in this video.
This boat came through and scared the manatee away.
On our way back we passed the ship.
This tour was fine to get out on the water and drink some rum punch but I was really hoping for a close up look at some manatees. It’s fine for a free tour but I wouldn’t pay for it.
