Good morning! Today we’re going to be at Harvest Caye in Belize. That’s one of Norwegian’s private islands. I’m used to tendering in Belize so this will be a nice change.
I asked the three ladies in the lounge. It’s not theirs but they said it did the same thing yesterday.
Here is a look at the breakfast spread in the studio lounge.
I got a couple of lattes, water, orange juice and ice for a screwdriver.
Then I took a walk around the waterfront on deck 8.

We have arrived at Harvest Caye.
I had a couple double grey goose screwdrivers at the Penrose bar before heading off of the ship.
They had a ridiculous line to get a towel. They moved it pretty fast. It really depends on how well the people know their cabin numbers.
It’s a pretty long pier. They do have transportation if you don’t want to walk it.

I brought a bag of ice with a few Coronas in it from my cooler.
The zip line goes right over the beach.
I’m going to spend some time in the water.
I got out when I needed another beer.
It’s pretty cool with the zip line up there.
I spent about an hour in the water. Once I finished my beers I was ready to move on.
They have a spot for my cans.
After all those beers I need to hit the bathroom.

I went down to the Flight House to grab a Belikin.
Prices are high. Normally I like to drink a few Belikins in Belize but it’s just going to be one today.
Talk about price gouging. This small draft is $9.28. I think a bottle or Belikin is 4 or 5 dollars at the other port. But now that I’m looking at the menu it says $7 so I don’t know how it came to $9.28.

The excursion was fine for free since I used the excursion discount. But I wouldn’t pay the $50 sticker price. We had as much rum punch as we wanted. I had two doubles.
Technically we saw two manatees but I didn’t really seen them. It was really quick. It was tougher than whale watching. Not like the pictures I’ve seen. #1 manatee killer here is speed boats so the other boats scare them away. That’s why they use an electric boat.
I found this guy on my way back to the ship.
They have water for you on the way back to the ship.
The steward has not been by my room yet.
I went into my stash and poured myself a Guinness.
The studio lounge has switched cookies and cakes for lunch.

I headed to the food hall for lunch. I’m grabbing a couple of Abita Ambers to take with me.

They also delivered a couple items I didn’t order.
After lunch I grabbed a couple more Abita Ambers.
This is a look at mini golf. It’s fancier than Carnival but it does cost $5.
Vibe is pretty empty.
I’m going to take the dry slide downstairs.
There’s no line at The Drop
I grabbed a couple Sam Adams inside at The Local.
Then I headed to comedy in the theater.

After comedy I headed to the Luna bar to see Dr. Bong.
I grabbed a couple Abita Ambers for dinner.
I’m going with this for dessert.
This is the secret bar in the theater. It’s down by the first floor entrance. There’s never a long line here.

Syd Norman’s Pour House is setup for a solo guitarist.
I grabbed a couple Guinness to replace some of the beers I drank today.
Hockey is on the sports channel.
I headed up to the lido deck for the South Beach dance party.
I grabbed a couple Stellas.
The barstools are really comfortable up here.
Before leaving I grabbed a double shot of Grey Goose to take to the room for tomorrow morning.
There’s a medical center near the elevator on my floor. This is what they have available in the kiosk.
After the dance party they put soccer on the big screen.
Still nothing from my steward. I’m off to bed. Good night!
