I just boarded Carnival Radiance in Long Beach, California. I’m going to be on this ship for 15 days heading to Hawaii and back.
I stopped by the room to drop off my bags. It’s close but not ready yet.
It better not be ready yet.
My room is just behind the Alchemy Bar which is going to be very convenient for me on all of those sea days. We have about 10 sea days on this cruise.
The Piano Bar is across from the Alchemy then we have the Red Frog Pub.
After the Red Frog Pub is the Casino Bar.
I made my way to the Atruim Bar.
I’m grabbing a Funship Special while I’m here.
I recognize the female bartender is Marina who is an alchemist. I’m getting another Funship to go.
I was looking for muster station but I didn’t see any of the people around. Apparently they’re making us do the full muster drill at 3pm.
The steakhouse is inside one of the main dining rooms on this ship which is odd.
Here is a sneak peek at tonight’s dinner menu in the dining room.
This is the theater. It has the same design as the Vista class but I think it might be a little smaller.
The Hero’s bar is the rebranded Skybox Sports Bar on this ship. It has one entrance from the atrium and another from the casino.
I grabbed another funship in the casino.
I’m heading back to the room. This is the Red Frog Pub.

My room is ready now. Let’s have a look around.
The have the last day screen up instead of the first day screen.
This cruise is my diamond cruise. I’m only missing my Venezia Transatlantic card here.
This passport case is my diamond gift. I don’t think it’s a very manly color scheme so I probably will not use it.

Refueling is complete at 4:05pm.
The Alchemy is open and full. I want to catch sail away then I’ll check back.
Entertainment has started in the Red Frog Pub.
I got a pina colada for sail away.
Walking through the casino on my way to the Alchemy. People are camping out at the slot machines waiting on us to hit international waters.
They have NBA on the casino TVs.
Big Nikola is here. I had little Nikola on Breeze last year so I knew ahead of time.

Nikola went on break. This is a filthy martini from Marina.

I stepped outside to see if I can catch a sunset.
The comedy club is packed for the first comedy show of the cruise.
I managed to get a seat at the bar. The bartender knows me but I’m not sure from where.

After the show they cleared the lounge. I got back in line for the next show.
This one wasn’t as crowded. I got a better seat and it never filled up.

Drew Marks. He was good but ended his show three minutes early. They sometimes go over but rarely go under.
I got another beer in the Red Frog Pub.
The rock band is starting up with The Rolling Stones.
They have a solo guitarist in the atrium.
I got a great spot in the lounge. It’s basically a one person couch with legroom.
Cruise Director Kieren
They have an interpreter on this cruise. If they do an adult game show I hope she’s at it. That’s always fun.
Kieren picked a kid out of the crowd and gave her a ship on a stick, medallion, and a certificate for a free build-a-bear. Then he introduced the fun squad.
I’ve seen this. They have to shake all of the balls out of their boxes.
They closed out the Welcome Aboard show with a performance from the Playlist cast.
After the show they started Rock The Promenade led by Kieren in the atrium.

Then they moved to the Red Frog Pub.
