Good morning! I slept in a bit and got some laundry ready. I had to ask the steward for more laundry bags. I could’ve filled two but I only had one. I knew I was going to have a lot of laundry. I changed clothes three times on the two long port days.
Noem was in costume for trivia. He does this pirate voice when he hosts comedy so it suits him.
There was no coffee line at 8:30.
I’m getting screwdrivers at the Red Frog Rum Bar on lido deck.
It started raining and it’s windy.
I’m sticking around for one more. This could be a tough day for the bartender Min.
Is it just me or have these screwdrivers gotten less orange than the first one? I think I’m getting doubles.

Min was like one more? I said no I think I’m good. He laughed as I got up. Yeah he was giving me doubles. I feel that.
It’s windy as heck up here. I think I’ll go see if Vera is in the casino. She makes a good spicy Bloody Mary.
My room has been made up and I got my additional laundry bags.
Noem is doing Harry Potter trivia now. He’s doing voices as well.
Vera is not in the casino. She wasn’t in the coffee shop this morning either.
We have one of those special journey cruise MDR lunches today. I have the mixology class at noon so I’m going to try to hit it right when it opens at 11:30. That’s why I skipped breakfast.
I tried to get them to make a Coconut Kiss at The Tides bar yesterday but they wouldn’t. If you want a coconut flavor without it being ridiculously sweet, it’s a good option. It’s Bacardi, Malibu, and coconut water. But the only place I’ve been able to get it is at the Serenity Bar.

I was able to check in for a lunch table 10 minutes early. My table was ready 5 minutes early.
I was at the pub getting a lunch drink.
They had a dance class when I was getting my lunch beer.
I caught Nikola setting up for the mixology class on my way to lunch.
I’ve had this table before for breakfast. One difference between Norwegian and Carnival is Norwegian will go out of their way to give everyone a window table. Here those tables are all vacant and they seat us in the middle of the dining room.
I mean on Norwegian I hear the person at the host desk on a walkie talkie asking for a window table. Sometimes the people will say “it doesn’t have to be a window.” It doesn’t matter. They try to get it for you. Here they don’t give a darn.

Steve the naturalist has a presentation going on in the limelight but I have to get to the mixology class.
I was threading the needle to get to Nikola’s mixology class at noon. It’s a big one with 35 people. I’m glad I signed up. For two days everyone I know from Alchemy has been asking if I’m going. People at my table who I don’t know, know my name.
Nikola provided information as well as entertainment.
Even though I didn’t have one of the bar spots, Marina always made sure I had a shaker.
