Hilton Garden Inn – Webster

When cruising out of Galveston, I like to stay just off of the interstate in Webster. That is about a 30-minute drive to the port. This time I got the Hilton Garden Inn – Clear Lake NASA which right where I like to be in Webster for $93 on Hotwire ($106 after tax). 

Here is a look at the surrounding area. I’m looking for wine to bring on my cruise. There’s a Total Wine by the mall but also Walmart and Target nearby. I got in after Total Wine was closed so I got mine at Target.

Let’s take a look at my room.

I have no complaints with my room but this is a bad week to have this problem since I’m reviewing the place. You have to call the front desk to get a down elevator. I’m just taking the stairs.

This is their little market next to the front desk.

On the other side of that is the bar.

Here are a few sitting areas in the lobby.

They have bathrooms downstairs. The water fountain has a bottle filling station.

Let’s step outside and check out the pool.

This is the fitness center.

I wouldn’t count on the business center here.

They have several meeting rooms.

I thought this was a nice hotel. The elevator situation was unfortunate. You may want to check to make sure it’s working before booking. I wouldn’t book here if you need a functioning business center.
