New England Getaway: New York Day 2
Good morning from the Sheraton Times Square. The street market they had setup yesterday is gone today.

I had to unplug that clock last night. The entire bottom of it lights up.

That’s where I will store my luggage after the cruise when I go to the Mets game.

I’ve only been to a few bagel places in New York but this is my favorite.

I guess I’m not the only one who likes it.

I got two bagels. I’ll eat one now and save the other for later.

I’m going to find a spot in Central Park to sit down and eat. First I’m going to walk through the zoo.

Bethesda Terrace looks like a good spot.

This is maple bacon cream cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel.

Naumburg Bandshell is a free concert venue in the park that was built in 1923.

That’s a bluejay.

I’m out of the park now and heading back to the hotel. I thought it was interesting that they have half streets.

Carnegie Hall

I definitely need to get to luggage storage before 10am next week. That line is horrible.

I unpacked and repacked my suitcase twice looking for things.

I dropped off my suitcase with a porter and headed to Intrepid.

I am about to tour Intrepid prior to boarding. For full coverage of that please check out Intrepid Air, Sea, & Space Museum.
After the museum I ate my other bagel. This is chipotle cream cheese on plain.

I picked a spot under the bridge with shade and a view to eat.

Next time we’re covering embarkation.
