Carnival Panorama Tour – Part 2 (Deck 5)

on
August 31, 2020

We are continuing our photo tour of Carnival Panorama with deck 5–Promenade deck. If you missed the first installment, you can catch up here: Carnival Panorama Tour – Part 1 (Decks 0-4).

Fun Shops

We are starting off at the front of the ship on deck 5. Here you have more fun shops around the atrium area.

Atrium

You still have a good view of the various entertainment performing in the atrium from this level.

Lanai

Deck 5 has an exterior lanai that goes all the way around the ship. The various sections of outdoor seating are themed for whatever they are just outside of. One of the fun shops is the Cherry on Top candy shop so that’s the theme just outside of this area.

Back inside we can see the top of the smaller dreamscape from down in the casino bar.

Piano Bar 88

The Library Bar

Bonsai Sushi and Teppanyaki

This is the sushi area.

This is the teppanyaki area. They only have two tables and 10 guests at each table so I recommend making your reservations early for this one.

Lanai

This is the lanai seating area outside of Bonsai.

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse.

Lanai

Stepping outside this is the lanai seating area just outside of the steakhouse.

Alchemy Bar

Right in between Bonsai and the Steakhouse is the Alchemy Bar. This is a good place to go for a fancy cocktail.

They use a lot of fresh ingredients at the Alchemy as well as liquors you won’t find at other bars.

Pixels Gallery

The walkway past the Alchemy contains the Pixels Gallery. This is where you can look at all of the pictures you have had taken on the cruise and order your packages.

Guy’s Pig & Anchor

We are coming up on the Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse-Brewhouse. There used to be a wax figure of Guy Fieri right here but it was removed the week before my cruise. The rumor I heard was people were posing for inappropriate pictures with it.

These are the beers that are brewed right here on the ship.

I was able to catch the brew master making an appearance behind the bar.

In the back they have a stage for live entertainment, a large TV for sports, and a lot of tables and booths.

Lanai

This is the lanai area outside of the Pig & Anchor. Down around that next corner is where they have the complimentary BBQ at lunch time.

This is the area where you would get your BBQ lunch. If the hand sanitizer isn’t enough, they have a full sink around the corner.

Dreams Studio

Moving back inside we have the Dreams Studio: A Pixels Experience. This is a place you can go for professional photo shoots.

Your Time Dining Check-In

Next we come to the Your Time Dining check-in area. If you have your time dining, this is one of four places you can request your table. You can also do it on the app or at the entrance to the dining room on deck 3 or 4. The difference is here you may request your table up to 30 minutes before Your Time Dining opens.

Next to the Your Time Dining check in they do have a few Fun Hub computers for public use.

Java Blue Cafe-Shake Spot

This is the Java Blue Cafe and the Shake Spot. This is where you can get your specialty coffees and your milkshakes. One of the secrets of this ship is this isn’t the only place in this area where you can get a specialty coffee.

Ocean Plaza

Just beyond the Coffee Shop find ourselves in Ocean Plaza. This is where you would find games and other activities during the daytime and live entertainment at night.

In the morning they have a small buffet in Ocean Plaza. Some call this the “secret buffet” because most people don’t know about it.

Lanai

This is the lanai outside of Ocean Plaza on the port side. That blocked off area is where the Havana cabins are located. Those would be the Havana Cabana cabins on this level.

Plaza Bar

Back inside to the left of Ocean Plaza is the Plaza bar.

The plaza bar also has the ability to make most of the coffees you can get at the coffee shop in the event there’s a long line there. Most people don’t know that so they wait in line there instead of coming here.

Lanai

This is the lanai seating just outside of the plaza bar area.

They have a bar out here as well. Then again beyond that blocked off area is where the Havana Cabana rooms are on this side of the ship.

Havana Bar

We are back inside and just beyond the Ocean Plaza area is the Havana Bar. While the Havana pool area is only open to guests staying in Havana cabins, the Havana Bar is open to all.

They have a Latin band in here at night.

When the bar opens you can get Cuban coffee there. Until then they have complimentary tea and coffee next to the bar.

This is the entrance to the Havana pool area. There are only two ways to get beyond this point. The first is to have Havana wrist band. The other is to drink so much in Cabo that you pass out early and end up being the first person awake on the ship the next morning. I don’t have a Havana wrist band.

Havana Pool Deck

This is the exclusive Havana pool area.
