Epic: St. Thomas
Good morning from St. Thomas, USVI. I have an early excursion over to St. John this morning so I’m just going to grab a coffee and a couple pastries from the studio lounge.

Today is the last day of the cruise. I left something extra for my steward, Wayan. I haven’t seen him since day 2 but he’s done a great job.

Here is today’s Freestyle Daily.

They handed out black bracelets for St. John on your own, green bracelets for the St. John beach excursion, and yellow for my St. John tour.

For full coverage of the excursion please check out St. John Island Tour.

I had thought about stopping at a bar for some Caribs before getting back on the ship but it was kind of a rough day. I got soaked on the way over the the island. I got stuck in the middle of a safari bus on the tour with limited visibility. Then we left 30 minutes late because a tour guide decided to give his people extra beach time while we sat on the boat waiting for them.
I’m just heading straight to the ship.

These are the afternoon offerings in the studio lounge.

All I had to eat today was the breakfast pastries this morning so I got a table at O’Sheehan’s.

Pretzel bites

Chili

Buffalo wings

One of the unique things about Epic is they have a barber shop on the promenade.

I showered and changed then headed down to Shaker’s for a Rum Cake Martini.

After that I headed to the studio bar for some dirty martinis.

I’m mixing it up with an espresso martini.

The nice thing about getting the espresso martini at this bar is they have an espresso machine in the lounge.
In case you were wondering what is in the coffee machine in the lounge.

Jaydin says this bottle of olives was full when the cruise started and I’m the only one who has used them.

I’ve spent most of my time every night at this bar talking to a Brit named John. I drink the martinis and he drinks Hendricks.
Jaydin is doing inventory and says it will be easier if me and John finish up the Grey Goose and Hendricks.

Jaydin is teaching Maria to make dirty martinis. I’ve heard her name before from the guys who are on here for 10 weeks in reference to Shakers but I’ve only seen the Chinese girl at shakers. Apparently Maria used to work with Jaydin there but not anymore. They live about 30 minutes from each other in the Philippines.

We closed down the studio bar well after it was supposed to be opened and after the bartenders left. They stayed a couple extra hours.

After that I went to Howl at the Moon with a lady from Boston from the Studio Bar.

I ended up missing dinner and now I’m checking out the farewell party.
