Epic: Antigua
Good morning. We are docked in Antigua and cleared to leave the ship. I’m getting two double espressos.

Here is today’s Freestyle Daily.

I tried to get breakfast but I had to abandon it after waiting 40 minutes for food that still hadn’t arrived.

We’re docked next to Aida Perla.

Virgin Voyages Brilliant Lady is also in port.

My tour is going to be over there. For full coverage of it please visit Lawrence of Antigua Tour.

After the tour Lawrence dropped us off here where we could walk through the market. We’re 15 minutes until back on board time and I don’t want my name called out so I’m heading straight to the ship.

I stopped by the room to shower and change clothes.

I headed up to lido deck for sail away.

I haven’t eaten anything today so here’s two mudslides.

I got my sail away spot in Spice.

This is the 175 year old St. John’s Cathedral.

I headed down to the studio lounge for pre-dinner drinks. I got a piece of cake to hold me over since I haven’t eaten today.

Dirty martini

Espresso martini

I had a few more dirty martinis.

After Jaydin closed up I headed down to Shakers. I’m going to have to start with a standing spot.

Rum cake martini

Chocolate martini

I tried to eat at O’Sheehan’s earlier but it was packed. O’Sheehan’s on this ship does not serve food on the bar overlooking the atrium. Every other ship I’ve been on they do. But you can eat at the bar where people go to drink. I don’t understand the rules sometimes and it’s weird that they vary ship to ship.

I got a window table in the Manhattan Room.

Caesar salad

Ravioli

Rigatoni

Brownie smore

Comedy is in the tent tonight.

I grabbed a couple of beers on the way here.

It’s easier to get a seat up here even coming in late because a lot of people don’t realize there’s a second level so they just stand by the door while I’m able to walk in and get a seat.

Manny Maldonado

Dueling pianos is going on in the comedy club tonight.

They have a 70’s party in the atrium tonight.

I grabbed a double grey goose to stash in the room for tomorrow morning.

They are leaving snacks out late. That’s good. On some ships (Prima) I’ve seen them remove the snacks at night.

I headed down to Shakers for a couple more drinks before bed.

We have some entertainment.

Rum cake

He is balancing a drink on his head while dancing. Cruises are definitely different out of San Juan.

Chocolate martini

I closed down the bar and grabbed one more grey goose for the stash.

I’m off to bed. Tomorrow we’re in Barbados. Good night!
