New England Getaway: Day 2

Well it’s 8:15. I got about 8 hours of sleep which is about my max. I needed it after yesterday. I’m kind of afraid to do anything that makes any noise because I know someone is sleeping on the other side of a door in my room. I definitely have to check all of my future rooms to make sure I don’t have any connecting rooms booked. I don’t want to do this again.

Here is a look at today’s Freestyle Daily.

Oh I was wrong. My neighbor wasn’t in the room. She just came in with someone else and was extremely loud. I could hear their entire conversation. I guess I don’t need to be quiet at all.

A couple of wrenches have been the one into my morning drink plans. They did not change the lemonade to orange juice like they did on Encore and Prima. And there’s no ice machine in the lounge like there is on Prima.

I filled my brita, got two double cafe lattes, and helped a lady turn her teams notifications off.

Walking on the water front I just passed some people. It must be their first cruise. ”No land as far as you can see!” “I know!”

This could be a nice place to watch a game if they ever have American sports on.

It’s actually a part of Syd Norman’s. The bar is right there with another TV.

I had a couple screwdrivers at Syd Norman’s.

I’m sure that’s a service animal.

Heading back inside.

Irish coffee from O’Sheehan’s.

I grabbed a bloody mary before the presentation.

I was able to get a seat on the side.

They have some of the senior hotel officers for this. I bet you can’t guess which one is the chef.

The GM is from Canada. He asks “Any Canadian’s here?” Crickets. I guess they can just uber to the ports. He started as a photographer. He’s been in Guest Services, HR, Finance, and IT.

Now the Spice H2O adults only area.

I got a couple rum punches.

I like that pool with the mist.

I grabbed another rum punch for the show.

This is the Mr. Sexy Legs competition.

And we have a winner.

Back inside they have speed trivia in the atrium.

They have a good size bathroom.

No line for lunch.

They have a future cruise presentation going on. I’m all booked up through next year. But I like to hear about their itineraries. NCL has some good ones. The ones out of Iceland in this one are looking good.

Let’s take a walk on the waterfront.

It’s getting windy and chilly outside.

It’s much easier to get a spot at Spice now!

Rum punch. This guy is making them strong. The guy next to me ordered a screwdriver and it was yellow instead of orange.

I tried the studio bar for pre-dinner drinks. The bar was had liquor but no mixers. He did have orange juice concentrate so I got a double screwdriver.

I grabbed a double shot of grey goose to go.

Look what I just noticed in the room.

I walked up at Ocean Blue. They said they could seat me outside. I think they could’ve done inside but I took it. A bit chilly but quiet for the most part.

I asked to substitute desert for a second appetizer. She said I could have both but I’m stuffed. I’ll ask if I can get one to go and if so I’ll take something to the Sugarcane bartenders.

They brought me this cheesecake with a cover which I took to Sugarcane.

I had to pick between Newly Wed show or comedy so I went comedy. I stopped at the casino bar for drinks.

The comedy club was mostly full but the front row was empty. And the bar was empty. I went to the bar and it’s a great seat. The stools have backs And it’s basically a front row seat.
