Regal Christmas: Day 2
Good morning. Today is a sea day. I got up at 6:30 which is 7:30 after the time change. It’s still chilly out here.

Then I went back to bed until 7:50, 8:50 after the time change.

Here is today’s Princess Patter.

They have an exercise class going on in the atrium.

Breakfast ends at 9:30 so I got out of the room pretty quick and headed down to Princess Live Cafe for a butter pecan latte on my way to the dining room.

I think the content of that menu is the same but it’s a newer physicial menu. Last time they had that menu that was the same every day then they had an insert where they changed the daily specials.

Bananas and pancakes

I’m taking a walk outside after breakfast.

Then I stopped by the International Cafe in the atrium for another coffee. I’ll just get an Americano this time.

Here’s a look at their cakes.

I headed back to the room to shower and change. I got up so close to the end of breakfast I just had time to throw something on and run out. I put Gladiator II on while I was in the room.

Here is our current location and weather.

You can set your room status on the TV or on the panel outside the door.

The elevator has a gangway button which is nice if you don’t know what deck the gangway is on.

They have the best pizza from the three lines I’ve been on. But you have to get it fresh. My problem last time was at non-peak times they would pull out a fresh one but not serve it until the old one was gone so you really had to time it right to get fresh pizza. But when they were busy it was always fresh.

I headed to the sea view bar which is my favorite outdoor bar on this ship.

You can see why it’s my favorite.

Even in this covered area it’s a bit too breezy out here. I’m going to find an indoor bar after this one.
This is supposed to be a pineapple mojito but it tastes like just a classic. Definitely not the Sugarcane Mojito Bar.

They have dance class going on in the Piazza.

Baked Alaska

I wasn’t very hungry for lunch but I got roasted cauliflower and mac n cheese.

Dirty banana at the sea view bar

Pina colada at The Outriggers Bar

The sea walk. You have to be careful about which rooms you get on this side of the ship if you don’t want people to see your balcony. Mine is at the front of the ship so it’s safe.

This is the adults only retreat.

Bloody mary

White Russian

Dirty martini

The bar is closing. I’m getting a Corona to go.

I’m going to hang here for sunset until it’s time to go down to the Champagne Waterfall.

They are setup for the Champagne Waterfall. I’m going to grab a martini.

The trivia that’s going on in Princess live is displayed on the Princess live cafe bar top.

Dirty martini

I was expecting people handing out free champagne like last time. I got tired of waiting and went for the martini.

There’s one. Last time they were more plentiful and out there early enough for me to grab a couple and get a spot up here before it started. It’s too late now.

Captain Aldo

They’re tearing down the waterfall.

Escogots

Spinach salad

Duck L’Orange

I didn’t know there was an anniversary song but apparently there is. It’s just like happy birthday but anniversary.

The Love Boat mousse

I believe this is where they have the special wine vineyard dinner.

There’s a little dance party in the atrium.

I grabbed a beer in the casino for the show.

Thin armrests are my only problem with this theater.

Four minutes until showtime and plenty of seats available for the late Bravo show.

The singers here are on a different level than Carnival and Norwegian.

I ordered more beverages for the fridge and they were delivered while I was gone.

Here’s our current location.

There’s a silent disco going on in the piazza.

Voice of the Ocean auditions are about to start.

I watched the first one then had to head to the adult comedy show.

It’s packed but I was able to find a solo seat.

Comedy host Andrew

Brandon Vestal

After comedy I made it back to Princess live to catch the announcement of the ones who made it to the finals.

The silent disco is still going on.

One problem with this room aside from no USB is from what I can tell there are no outlets near the bed. So to have my phone charged up when I wake up I need to have it on the other side of the room or have a long cable. I do have a long cable but not long enough to reach the nightstand. But I can move this table pretty close.

Tomorrow we’re in Cozumel. Good night!
